Our Story

So I finally decided it was time for Brian and I to start a blog. We'll start out with an overview of us...

Our story begins with the Super Bowl in 2007. A friend invited Brian over to my house to watch the Super Bowl that year and we spent most of the time flirting with each other rather than watching the game. :). This resulted in him asking me to Prom a week later (my Junior Prom and his Senior Prom). From that day forward we became great friends. We liked each other on and off for the next several months until he left on his mission in November. We continued to write and stay in touch while he was gone and started dating again in January 2010, 2 months after he got home from Argentina. We dated for almost a year before he proposed to me on November 20, 2010. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 14th, 2011 and are now approaching our 3 year anniversary!

The past 3 years together have been wonderful. We went on a Caribbean Cruise together in November of 2011, went to Milwaukee to visit Nicole, Colby, and Devri last summer, went to Disneyland last summer, and have spent lots of time with family at family events in between. I graduated from UVU with my degree in Mathematics education and am currently teaching 8th and 9th grade math at Salem Junior High. Brian will graduate with his Masters in Accounting in April 2015. He is currently doing an internship with Deloitte in Salt Lake City and is enjoying it.
